It is an honor and privilege to serve as the Sheriff of Anson County. Although it is a job that is faced with many challenges. I look forward to those challenges each day.

      The most satisfying reward of being Sheriff is to be able to help people. My goal is to continue to build this organization into the most efficient and professional organization of its kind.

      Since returning to this office in 2002, we have instituted over twenty new programs as well as continuing programs such as D.A.R.E. and Crime Stoppers. Almost all of these programs have required no local funding or were funded through state and federal grants monies, donations or operated by volunteers.

      We are like a medium size business. Service is our product. The citizens are our customers. Our goal is to deliver our product of service to our citizens in the most efficient, timely and effective way.
